Caregiver Disclosure Information:
- Only qualified caregivers wishing to work as independent contractors will be placed on the in-home
Work registers. - Personal information about the caregiver will be collected to make that determination.
- To be pre-qualified , the process involves:
- Credential verification on doh website to confirm current valid certification.
- Completing the application package requirements that may include:
- Pass a skills tests
- Demonstrated experience by providing past 3 employers contact for reference check
- Complete a background check or provide a recent background check
- Required training beyond certification verified as current
- If selected by a family to provide in-home care further requirements will be communicated
